Extremadura honey is unique and artisan. In Extremadura there would be enough beehives to set up large packing plants, but beekeepers prefer to keep the bee’s almost personalized attention in order to get a unique product. That is why it is not the same to smear a slice of bread with jara honey from Cañamero than to do it with fodder honey without grace or known origin.
